Purpose

1   To ensure that Council and Senior Staff are informed, in a timely manner, of all internal and external departmental functions/meetings/and open houses.

Procedure

3   (1) Notification of all internal and external departmental functions/meetings/open houses, are to be submitted, in writing, by the department General Manager, to the Executive Assistant, a minimum of 15 working days in advance of the event.

(2) Copies will be distributed by the Executive Assistant to Council, the City Manager and all General Managers.

(3) The Executive Assistant will ensure the functions/public information meetings/open houses, are noted on the weekly Schedule of Meetings.
