Purpose of this policy

1   To ensure that correspondence from Council is not written in an inappropriate manner from individual members of Council on City of Abbotsford letterhead.

Guiding principles

2   (1) Individual members of Council have no individual decision-making power, and as such, shall not express opinions in correspondence on behalf of Council.

(2) The decisions of Council shall be reflected as collective corporate decisions.
