Bylaw no. 2357-2014
WHEREAS the Community Charter provides that Council may, by bylaw, exempt from taxation, land or improvements that are owned or held by a charitable, philanthropic or other not-for-profit corporation, and that Council considers are used for a purpose that is directly related to the purposes of the corporation;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City of Abbotsford, in open meeting assembled, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
2 The extent of exemption from taxation for the properties, as set out in Schedule "A", attached to and forming part of this bylaw, shall apply for the year 2015.
